1. How to delete a staff from the device?

  • Login to the HT BS software
  • Click Basic Info
  • Click Staff
  • Select staff
  • Click Dimission
  • Click OK
  • Click Exit
  • Click Device Management
  • Click Data Exchange
  • Select the device
  • Click Write (Archive,photo,FP)
  • Click OK
  • Click Back

2. How to change the department of a staff?

Answer:

  • Click Basic Info
  • Click Staff
  • Choose Department and Staff
  • Click Redeploy
  • Choose the new Department
  • Click Redeploy
  • Click OK

3. How to change time of the device?

Answer:

  • Login to the HT BS software
  • Click Device Management
  • Click Data Exchange
  • Select the device
  • Click Time Synchronization

So that, the time of your PC will be synchronized with the device

4. After login to the software an error message pops up “XMLDOM is not enabled!’’ 

Answer:

  • Go to Tools option of Internet Explorer
  • Select Compatibility view settings
  • Click Add
  • Click Close

5. When trying to pull the attendance records by Read T-A record, showing an error – 'Device busy'

Answer:

  • This issue is caused since there are multiple services/programs running. Go to Task Manager and kill all the tasks under the name HT BS/HT FC 35/Browser System Service and run the program again.

6. I could not login to the attendance application (HT BS) as I forgot my login password

Answer:

10. Can I give individual access to my employee to login to the attendance application?

  • Yes, each employee can be given individual access to the attendance application, so that they can login and apply for delayed records, leave, over time. This shall be applicable only if the admin authorizes it.

11. I have three offices around different part of world, can I connect to all three attendance devices through my laptop, and also I do not have a VPN?

Answer:

  • Yes, you can connect and download attendance logs from all three devices just by connecting it to Internet. And you do not need VPN to do this.
